The Cerebral Palsy Association of British Columbia (CPABC) mission is to raise awareness of cerebral palsy in the community, to assist those living with cerebral palsy to reach their maximum potential and to work to see those living with cerebral palsy realize their place as equals in a diverse society.

We will accomplish this mission through advocacy, encourage networking, educating members of the public about cerebral palsy, governing relations activities, and implementing programs for individuals with cerebral palsy.

The vision of the CPABC is to create a Life Without Limits for people with cerebral palsy. We will accomplish this by becoming the recognized leader in providing information, support and guidance to children, families and adults living with CP in our province. Each year we receive more than 6,000 requests for information from individuals and organizations across our province. Most of the calls we receive are from parents of children with CP.

Adults with CP, other family members, care providers, educators and medical professionals also turn to the CPABC for information they can’t find anywhere else – information on topics ranging from treatment, funding and housing options to human rights, advocacy and special needs education. People whose lives are touched by CP know they can count on us to be here when it matters most.

Odd Squad Production ascribes to the notion that ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’ and that drug prevention and education programs are a much more effective and a healthier investment for our youth than treatment. Using a unique combination of documentary films, presentations, peer-to-peer workshops and judo based training, Odd Squad members strive to help guide today’s youth through the difficult personal and social issues such as drug usage and addiction, gang recruitment and involvement with their unique reality-based educational programs.

Our team of passionate serving and retired police officers, along with dedicated volunteers, are global leaders in drug and gang education for young minds. By donating to us, you empower us to deliver reality-based education to thousands of youth across Canada, making a lasting impact on their lives.
